With fifteen years of diverse experience in post-production, over six in production, and a decade of internet development and programming, Jonathan Wareham brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every production.
Wareham applied his knowledge of MIDI and digital audio as the sound effects editor for the FOX hits The Simpsons and Futurama and as the sound supervisor for the documentary series The Blues Project, Executive Produced by Martin Scorsese, and other major projects for Jodie Foster and Al Ruddy (Producer, The Godfather & Million Dollar Baby), who affectionately calls Wareham "a f*cking genius".
Sound FX editorial Emmy 2001: Discovery, When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth.
After winning an Emmy for sound design (and after some 200 primetime network tv shows and 25 feature films) Wareham set out for new challenges and picked up the DVX-100 to produce a series of films dealing with prison reform shot in Washington D.C., inside NY's Rikers Island, in Los Angeles and in New Zealand where he explored incarceration trends from within the indigenous Maori Black Power and Darksider gangs.
In 2006 he won The New York Television Festival for Best Unscripted Television Show, On The Block, featuring former Miss America Leanza Cornett, and in 2007, travelled to Rio de Janerio to produce the fashion docu-drama pilot Flash. He acted in the role of sound super for 4 features in 2008, including the cult hit, Midnight Movie. All 4 were mixed in 5.1 on the ICON. He is currently in development of major interactive HTML5 projects implementing video and audio to help change the face of the internet.
